Members of East Ward allotments (EWAA) are welcome to come along to the car park – contact johoward@metronet.co.uk for a pdf catalogue or see www.heritagefruittrees.co.uk for more info. A one day course on community plant breeding, teaching how to save your own seed, and the skills needed to improve your vegetable varieties and create that elusive perfect tomato/lettuce/oca you can never find in the seed catalogues. Course tutors include Kate McEvoy from the Real Seed company. The course date is Sat 16th April; details can be found here: www.conted.ox.ac.uk/Q100-147.
