Andy Howard of the Heritage Fruit Tree Company will be making a return visit to EWAA on Saturday 21st March between 10-12pm. Andy’s talk on pruning was much appreciated last year and he has agreed to offer this again when he brings along fruit trees and bushes for sale.

A stock list will be made available in due course so that members are able to pre-order for delivery on the day.

Dear Bridget or other committee member,

I was told by Emma (I think) that I needed to let the allotment committee know of any additional helpers we have on the allotment (No.117). My mother is in hospital and I would be her main carer if she got out. She lives in Wales. So I would need help keeping the allotment up to scratch and giving us some food and watering the polytunnel etc.
At the moment Pete is recovering from a hip replacement and I have chronic wrist sprain…so they occasionally help out now, if they can. If we are there together we will certainly follow all Covid guidance about hand washing and physical distance…..

Nick Lunch and wife Jenny Yeoung are already known to you and they occasionally help. Also Beata Dytckak and daughter Lydia might help too. They haven’t been before.

I hope I’ve understood Emma correctly about this. Let me know if there are any problems.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to write, but couldn’t find a contact place.

    Stay well
