We will have a skip onsite next week for the disposal of allotment rubbish. Loading of the skip will be controlled, so please put rubbish in the correct piles next to the skip:
- wood
- metal
- non-recyclable plastic, old carpets, and other non-hazardous materials
- useful items, such as plant pots etc.
Please take recyclable plastic and cardboard home with you and put in your blue bin. Organic waste (grass clippings, leaves, etc.) should ideally be composted on plots.
Please take asbestos, unidentifiable or hazardous chemicals, gas canisters, paint, varnish, building materials (e.g. bricks), and soil to the recycling centre.
